"Anonymous" left the following comment ...
Hello Miss Pathetically Patient, how long do you intend staying here plaguing us with your sad sorry tales?
Paul, Wyomi & Natalie
Who in the bloggingsphere is "Paul", "Wyomi" and Natalie"?
All I know is that they are 3 bloggers who constantly leave hurtful coments on my blog.
I have done them no harm and yet they continue to show interest in my life by reading my blog regularly (which I don't grudge them for doing) and leaving anonymous comments that border on the vulgar, hurtful and offensive.
I'me going through a tough period in my life and would really appreciate it if you'd help me atleast know who these 3 bloggers are and why they seem to be lurking around my blog and leaving hateful comments that are really confusing as I see no reason why they'd continuously be such avid readers of my blog if they feel plagued by my sad stories.

ReplyDeletei dont know about the last, but paul and natalie i know and they have ethics of the hgihest standards and hearts you can store the blogosphere on. doesnt it look engineered? (i removed my earlier comment coz it had som words missing) and felt too strong for my liking.
ReplyDeleteHi, I have witnessed the entire drama that went on with pp.. just ignore.. let them believe what they want to.. and trust me kottu wont do anything. Indi is in their pockets. So my advice is to just ignore.

ReplyDeleteI too remember the whole incident involving PP (who incidentally stands for "passionatelypatient"). She was a good writer and a very nice person and what happened with her was a very sad incident. I don't know about what "someone important" has to say but if paul, wyomi and natalie are leaving comments of this nature on just chillin's blog, I think they ought to be ashamed. I think the onus is on "someone important" to verify things with paul and natalie and just advise them that their names are being used to blackmark them to Just Chillin.

So these three people who left these name on your blog, thought you are passionately patient, scolded you, logged in annonymously, accidently left their real names behind?

Maybe force them to reveal their blog identiies? And maybe force you to reveal yours if they don't know it already?

ReplyDeleteI;m reading this again and I don't think JC means that they logged in anonymously and accidentally left their names. I think what JC's saying is that they logged in as "anonynous" and sent a direct message to JC with a threat to intimidate her, thinking wrongly that JC was passionatelypatient.

ReplyDeleteI also don't think you're doing the wrong thing JC in writing this post and asking for help. I beg to differ from you on that one "someone important"... I think JC has been very decent and nice about it and genuinely felt upset at these comments. I think any of us would. I too am absolutely sure that passionatelypatient is not justchiilin. Even IF it were so it's rather underhand, uneducated behaviour to address it in this way.

I'm not going to even pretend to be an expert on this matter, but I do read Nat's and Paul's blogs and I really don't think that it's them who left that comment... That's the thing with anon comments in that anyone can pretend to be anyone else, so like I suggested before JC you should really think about taking off the anonymous comments feature... :)

BUT I forgive you because I've done a greater sin in the past and I had someone forgive me not too long ago... so in the same vein I too choose to forgive you.
I don't know about Wyomi aka Jaded shades and Natalie aka The Missing sandwich. As for Natty, all i can say is she is pretty decent. She infact sent me e-mails when i had troubles with Paul aka the Killer Romeo Project (Brother of our Kung Fu Panda actor David Blacker) and exposed him. That lady sounded pretty civil, humane and if not anything decent. I highly doubt she would do it. She was nice even at the height of troubles.
ReplyDeleteAs for Wyomi, I do not know her, so i shall keep silent since i don't know. I am non judgemental. As for Paul, Yes there is a possibility he would, he is such. But then why would he want to leave his name if it was ACTUALLY him? Paul is a smart crook. I don't think he would leave his name like this. Chances are someone else playing with this.
I don't think this is by them. But by someone who is as close. Daily i get nasty comments, all of them carry RD's name and blog URL, but i never post them nor do i worry about them. I know RD wouldn't leave his identity that way. When i went into details, i found out all those comments were left by someone else who actually lives in Colombo, but carrying RD's name taking advantage of the situation between the two of us. Also technology can be manipulated easily.
I am not defending anyone. All i am saying is you should verify. Or just leave this and move on with life. Anonymous idiots do not deserve any respect at all.
Well, its your blog, you have the control over it. Just disable anonymous comment option.
having dealt with so many anonymous comments myself, all i can tell you is, when the abuse happens with real names, chances are they were by others. No sane person would ever want to get caught like that unless he / she is a psychopath.
Anyway, just verify. Don't rush and jump to conclusions.

Asking them to come to your rescue is a joke :-) I would advise you to get your self de-listed from kottu, blog your own way like i do. World out there is BIG. There are more than 150 Million bloggers, Kottu is Indi's ass kissers amounting to about 150 or 200. That's it. Realize your true potential. That is not with Kottu, but with the world. Kottu is a hypocrite society. No need to rely on those idiots if one is capable, i am sure you are more than capable :-)
Thanks NB. I guess the only reason why I'm on kottu is because I got to know some really nice bloggers through reading their posts and interacting with them. What you say is true. I shouldn't jump to conclusions.

The only reason why I kept the anonymous option is because it tells me who's really out there in that world and let's me know their true thoughts. Far better than having them silenced and run away just because they see that they cannot comment.
I've decided to just ignore them if they comment abusively again. Maybe you're right about Natalie then. Thanks again for the comment.

ReplyDeleteNow that I know "anonymous" was paul blacker, there's nothing left to do but just leave it alone, faluda. I'm not interested in revenge. Like I said, I've been forgiven of my own sins. I shouldn't go round getting people for theirs. I'm just happy that the mystery or who "anonymous" is has been solved. That's more than enough for me because I have other issues in my life. The wrong impression of you is got because of all THOSE comments and I can't help thinking that it's one of you i.e. wyomi or natalie or paul who is behind this. It's aggressive in nature and these comments seem the kind of thing that you would do, especially considering how you attacked passionatelypatient in the past (I remember those comments) That's why. ReplyDeleteI'm very sorry for all the comments you've been getting, But unfortunately i didn't know about your blog till recently when someone told me about this post. So I'm sorry this issue wasn't resolved sooner. Let me tell you NOW that IT IS NOT Paul, Natty or I who has been posting any of the comments that have been bothering you so much. A lot of stuff happened with PP, She took our lives and our troubles and wrote a post about them and called it "fictional" to the rest of the blogosphere. When we asked her to remove it, she turned nasty on us and things got out of hand. In the end our identities were revealed, false accusations were made by "anonymous" people commenting on her blog about us all. Finally WORDPRESS was informed and she was removed from WORDPRESS by the people that run it.. not Indi, because she revealed our identities and let a lot of ppl under the guise of ANONYMOUS slander us 3 however they wished.
I promise you here and now it is not us 3! Once PP was removed, life got back to normal for us 3 and we've moved on and got back to our lives. You can check out my blog anytime and see if we seem at all bothered about what PP did anymore or if we seem the type of people to harass you. If you think me Nat or Paul are the type of people who would, MONTHS after this issue blew over... you are very much mistaken.
On top of that, we'd be nuts to write something like that and actually put our names down don't you think?
Anyways its up to you to post this comment or just delete it after you've read it (I prefer you delete it coz this will start another blog war) but just to lay the rumours and speculation and accusations to rest... and to give you some peace of mind. WE have nothing against you. WE DID NOT WRITE ANY OF THOSE COMMENTS!
